Falcons WR Roddy White catches heat for anti-gay tweets
He has every right to tweet whatever he wants but I do think this was done in poor taste. However I will still continue to collect his cards and autos.

I agree thet people have the right to say whatever they want, but society is so sensitive at present time that it is better to keep it to yourself, especially public figures.

pretty dumb to come back with "would you rather be gay or straight" in response to a question about which he'd rather do. lead the league in stats or win a super bowl.
I get that the reply wasn't smart, but from my point I don't see it as him being homophobic. Maybe he is, maybe he isn't.

I did enjoy his apology. "OK people I apologize for saying the word gay I know it's a sensitive subject and a athlete of my stature should not use it." Pretty much he's saying Up yours. Stop being a bunch of sensitive babies.

"I should be held to my own standards and not the standards of others"
I agree 110%. Unfortunately we live in an idiot-filled society where everyone wants to get special treatment because of their differences, but they don't want you to point out or mention that they are different or, God forbid, disagree with what makes them different.
