I know when I end up getting my stats tabulated for the contest it will be different than yours. I'm not giving any leeway after the 12 noon cutoff. Thankfully only four more days.

they probably will. this was not easy to keep up with and after a while, especially when i started keeping track, my eyes got buggy with keeping track of the stats. i may go back and double check my work because after all im not perfect and make mistakes. you totally kicked our behind this year and earned that koufax card. i agree come wednesday, it will be all over and i wont have to worry about it then.

you know, the more i think about it you make a great point. the rules are the rules and i shouldnt have given leeway after the noon deadline, with the exception of july 3rd when the website was not functioning. i want to hear what other people think because i have no problem going back from the beginning of the season and starting over.

If you give five minutes what happens to someone who entered their picks at 12:06? I believe you open up a can of worms if any leeway is given.

That was the point why I asked the person who started the contest about editing your picks. I interpreted the rule that a pick cannot be changed. There are some games that you are allowed to but this game it said:

Rules:
1-You must have 200 posts or 10 positive trades before you can enter the contest. But since this is a year long contest, you can easily catch up if you don’t start right away.
2-You cannot choose the same player more than once in any streak. For example, if you correctly choose Robinson Cano, you cannot use him again until your streak ends.
3-You are responsible for your picks. Make sure to check each day’s games to ensure the player you want is actually playing. You cannot edit your daily picks.
4- All picks must be made before Noon EDT for each day’s games. I would suggest making your pick the night before.
5- Each day’s entry must include the date and player. Here’s an example:

April 4, Miguel Cabrera


Nowhere does it say you can add another post to change it. There were a couple of times I picked a pitcher and come to find out the next morning they are not pitching. Like I said before, the rule for this game is like the rule for "Guess the Final Price". I'm still in the infancy of compiling my results but I want to get it right.

thats why i pm'ed you because this was not easy to do and i dont like making mistakes. i dont think the standing will change that much with the top 5 being the same people.

I played fantasy sports for many years up until a couple of years and gave it up because of the time it took to be halfway decent. One thing I always appreciated was people who stuck it out to the bitter end even though they might not have a chance to win a prize. I would have rather finished second in a division where a bunch of people stuck it out as opposed to winning a division and no one was still playing at the end. I'm offering the following people the choice of any of my trade cards with a BV of $15 or less as appreciation for sticking it out.
