I have no problem with waiting the specified amount of time. The reason i use This thread is to grad cards with a lower value, or ones that I am questionable on what kind of grade the cards will get. I generally send all of my own cards in, I send about 25-30 cards a month. Altogether it is not that expensive to send cards in, in fact for the guys only sending 5 cards in, it is probably cheaper just to do it through beckett. 5 cards,20 day service=$32 (including your shipping)....and search cam newton sgc......theres 8 cards on ebay, and 3 are the same card.....noone respects them, i understand people have preferences, but please for the sake of the community, lets stick to the 2 that make grading a card worthwhile!!
(
And you know what, you are absolutely correct in the fact that modern cards graded SGC may not get the respect as BGS and PSA. I may have to agree that point. So if we did an SGC group submission it may turn out to be a vintage card blitzkrieg. Which would be cool because I have plenty of vintage I would not mind grading. I too have sent in cards myself to both BGS and SGC. I just find it a bit easier to send my cards in during these subs. All the dirty work is handled through Roger :) Thanks Bradsholly for making a good point!!

Well theres the problem you're searching Cam Newton SGC.
SGC and their following are mainly known and well respected for their grading of Vintage and especially pre war cards. Everyone knows for modern you use BGS never PSA or SGC therefor talking Cam Newton and SGC is just nonsense.

now heres the idea..........how many vintage cards got sent in on this sub..........a couple???? less than 5%...so why would we submit to a "vintage specialist" (also keep in mind that sgc is horrible for grading altered cards) when we are barely submitting and vintage?? psa, does both, I agree with them, but sgc I don't think would be worth the time, everyone knows even vintage is psa or bust!!

Did you ever consider that these BGS subs don't see much vintage simply because its BGS? 90% of Vintage collectors stay away from BGS and use PSA and SGC religiously, open up a sub to SGC or PSA and the amount of vintage will far out weigh the number of modern submitted.

I have had many inquiries about PSA for vintage. I have no doubt we could get 100 cards for a sub...

I little research about PSA
Turnaround Time
ESTIMATED
BULK SERVICES*
Declared value under $100. Excludes Autographed and Supersized Cards.
10 Card Minimum $10 30 BUSINESS DAYS
50 Card Minimum $8 45 BUSINESS DAYS
100 Card Minimum $6 45 BUSINESS DAYS
*Must be a Collectors Club Member to use Bulk Services.
We already get $6/card but each card has to be worth $100 or less, same with SGC....this is what I don't understand with these 2 companies as to why the cost per card depends on the book value of the card...

And, we don't have to wait 45 business days. Vintage or not, my PC looks great in the BGS/BVG holders!

Lets just stick with BGS. The wheel doesn't seem to be broken or in any need of repair, and the number of cards subbed seem to be great, so why are we trying to reinvent or fix this? I'm more than happy with the current system.
