    USA to Canda ttm

I've never sent anything to Canada yet. I just got a Don Cherry Mcfarlane that I want to send out to get signed. From what I have read it appears that I would use US postage to send to him and Canadian postage for him to send it back? Do you have to fill out the form for customs? Appreciate any response. Thanks
