Venus Transit
Today the planet Venus will pass between the Earth and the Sun. The next such alignment wont happen until 2117 (well after our life times). Should be pretty interesting. A streaming feed will happen starting at 5:30 EDT. You can watch it here if interested :

they said that on the local news, i used my brothers welding glasses and couldnt see venus yet.

its too cloudy here for me to look live, but on the bottom link in post 1 you can see it now... its just getting entirely in front of the sun now.
