What do you think this is worth ?

My grandfather used to own a trophy store for like 30 years here in Texas, he used to supply the trophies for Troy Aikman's annual golf tournament and got to play in it and meet lots of famous celebs, players, etc I was always pretty young... but did get to meet Troy once or twice...

One year Troy had these custom pen boxes made as a christmas gift for each of the starting offense players from 1995. There were only 12 of these made, the 11 players got one, and then my grandfather. Each one is exactly the same, its a custom wood pen case with a pull out drawer and the top closes and a gold cast cowboy helmet is on the top when closed.... Each pen is engraved with Aikman, Novachek, Allen, Irvin, Smith, Newton, etc etc from that year...

I have no intentions on selling this because my grandfather recently passed away, so to me its priceless.... but was just kinda curious what it would be worth....

I think it is too unique for there to be any good way to estimate its value. It's definitely a super-cool keepsake.

Wow. That's an awesome item. $s wise its very hard to estimate because its so one of a kind... If I had to make some sorta guess i'd say in the range of $4000-6000...

I won't estimate (because you probably would disagree) but the market would be so small for an item like that...you should never sell it though in the first place, it is awesome!

If you are really interested, there are experts that will evaluate something like that for a fee. I am sure you are just trying to get a balkpark by asking here, but truly something that unique, should be evaluated by an expert. Last months PSA magazine had a whole special on these type of experts. If you are interested on more information about them PM me and I can give you some info
