The standard sized cards feature a full color action shot of the driver, car or a memorable moment from the 2011 season. The border-less cards have the set logo in the top corner and a graphic at the bottom with the driver's name and car number. The card fronts are trimmed in silver foil. The card backs show a different photo of the driver, car, or event shown on the front. The backs also include moderate career highlights and their 2011 statistics.

2012 Press Pass Racing returns to what Press Pass does best - racing card sets. Great collation with one and a half complete sets rocks. Great looking inserts and parallels will be fun to chase. The cards are listed alphabetically by the driver's last nice which makes for easy sorting. With a limited number of drivers available, the main set is broken down into several sub-sets. There are cards of drivers from the Sprint, Nationwide and Truck series. There are also cards of 2011 season highlights and notable events. One thing I did notice is that several of the cards have dinged corners and edges. I will not call the set condition sensitive, but I would like to have seen the cards come out of the packs in a little better shape.
The Bottom Line:
I give 2012 Press Pass Racing a buy rating. Pulling a complete set from a box is always a plus. Really cool inserts and parallels and a sweet hit of one of the most popular drivers? Yes please!
The Final Score:
