I am only ever turning over rocks. I have made it a point to try to live with all different civilizations that live on the Earth. I still have not lived in Africa yet, but have been many, many times and learned probably more than anywhere else in the World that I have lived or travelled.

I must learn something new everyday, or my quest for wisdom is not sated. I am like the Lioness that has just consumed 25 lbs. of fresh meat, I must drink a gallon of water to slake my thirst, and I must do so post-haste.

I enjoy the business of warfare even though I am a leftist peacenik. Armies, the movement, and tactical capabilities of such throughout history has fascinated me. What drives the human component to make war, and the ease with which some are more than adequately capable, and the resistance and pure dread of others is a total study in human logic.

On top of that, I've made every mistake a man can make in regard to women, (without abuse), and at some point I may actually learn something about them. As much as I think I understand them, I really don't. That itself keeps life interesting.
