Oh Aj, you don't know how it pleases me to show you how very wrong you are.

You see AJ, whether or not you want to admit or like it....I was a christian for the majority of my life, I have a GOOD understanding of Christianity, and better said, I have a VERY GOOD understanding of EVANGELICAL Christianity.

So, with that being said...believe it or not, SOME evangelicals absolutely ABHOR the fact that many Americans treat the flag like an "idol".

You see, your allegiance (in the sense of an evangelical Christian) is NOT towards your country....it is toward GOD and ONLY God.

EVERYTHING else is secondary, including your country.

By pledging allegiance to the flag, SOME Evangelicals and MANY JWs believe you are putting the flag and the United States AHEAD of God and treating the flag as an "idol".....and that is clearly against one of the ten commandments.

So to many of these people....YEAH, they DO NOT LIKE the American Flag and what it represents.

The Kingdom of GOD and GOD himself is the only thing they pledge their allegiance to.

Some people take it so far that they turn their backs to the flag during the pledge of allegiance.


Personally, if I were still in High School, I would feel it were my patriotic duty to NOT stand, and I would love nothing more than a teacher to call me out for doing so....I would sue the whole god damn school in a millisecond!

And I would take pleasure in bringing down ANYONE that dares to tell me that I have to worship the stupid flag.

You do not have to worship anything but at least respect the flag of the country you live in. The country you call home,the country you make your home in. Or am I correct again and the hypocrite in you comes out AGAIN. Nobody said anything about worship you as always found a platform to spread your cult like plans of religion.
