1987 cubbies
Hi,
I was checking out all of these success threads and decided that I might try getting a few TTM autos. I was hoping to send baseballs, have them autographed and sent back...cards would work as well.
Any tips for getting signed balls back? Any tips in general for success? Is the offseason better than the summer? Do you try to send multiple cards in one envelope? or send 3 cards in separate envelopes?
I was thinking of trying for the starting lineup of the 87 cubbies, as that was really a summer that I remember watching them a ton (and suffering).
Jody Davis, Ryne Sandberg, Bobby Dernier, Andre Dawson, Shawon Dunston, Rick Sutcliffe, Leon Durham, etc.
My assumption is that Sandberg and Dawson will be toughest to get...is sending through the IronPigs probably the best for Sandberg? Or sending to his home?
Any help is appreciated! Never done this before!

Actually, Dawson is easy TTM, and will sign anything for a small fee. Sutcliffe and Sandberg are the toughest for TTM out of your list, Jody Davis, Dunston, and Durham have signed TTM for me.

I believe that I sent cash, but check the TTM Manager, and it will probably say. If it is a charitable donation, a check can be sent.
