Thanks! Unfortunately I found out it's a fake card so I don't have the card anymore. Gonna get a refund for the card from the seller today. I still have a stellar Griffey collection in the end! Thanks!

How are you able to tell that it is a fake? I have seen a lot of similar cards floating around on the bay. I am huge Griffey Jr. and I have been looking into some of his stuff lately...

I feel that it is fake for a few reasons. First of all, the patches don't look like game used patches but instead replica patch pieces. Also, a big Griffey supercollector told me that a friend of his was pretty sure that he saw what the card looked like before and it didn't have the same patch pieces in it. Also, this card was originally sold by a guy that has been caught selling fake patch cards in the past. I just didn't feel comfortable after getting the card in hand and the patches also looked like they were kind of torn a little in a few spots so it looked like somebody other than UD put the patches in themselves. Just didn't feel right to me but who knows for sure, right? For $1000 I didn't want to take the chance and also feeling uncomfortable about it. Thanks!

Hey Tom its Bill, so the card was a fake? I see it listed on e-bay again, so I was wondering. That sucks, but glad you got your money back. I saw the other pickup you got and that one is cool. I like any card he signs 'junior'

Yeah, I was too suspicious on that Quad Patch Auto /24 card to keep it and it cost a lot of money so I didn't want to risk it. It is listed again on eBay and I am watching the listing to see what happens with it. Anyways, I did get that sweet JUNIOR Auto /10 card and another card that I will post on here shortly that is also a great card! Let me know what you think of this card as well? Thanks!

It truly is a shame. That card would have probably brought in $1,000 + regardless. Not that I approve of faking a card under any circumstances, but faking that card was pointless.
