Hello all,

I am in the process of landing a Bubba Starling Sterling Refractor rookie auto/199 for a Oscar Taveras Bowman Chrome Gold/50. Should I do it? Starling is projected to arrive in 2015 and I don't know if I want to wait that long for a guy that may or may not pan out. He seems to have the similar tools as Mike Trout and that does excite me obviously, but is this a trade I should do? I might also be able to get some paypal in this transaction.

Bowman Sterling cards are always less desirable than Bowman Chrome and Bowman Chrome Draft so while getting an autograph in return for just a numbered card is better the Bubba Starling Chrome autograph will see a much higher increase if Bubba does something in the future.

All I know is if I were the person trading with you and saw you entertaining offers on a "should I do it thread" you would be holding your Oscar Taveras card.

agreed 100%....

I never go into a trade thinking I am going to get ripped off or I am trying to rip someone off... sometimes a trade is more lopsided to one person.... to me, it doesn't matter. If both parties can agree to terms they are both happy with, then do the trade. I could care less what the BV, SV or Ebay sales are. I have many times trade almost double what I should have to get a card I really wanted.... sometimes it happens. If I want a card, I do what I can to get it.

Not sure you understood my post to the OP.
He's asking should he trade his card to another member here,yet he's also offering it to someone who posted on this thread.If I were the original person with the Starling I would kill the deal leaving him holding his Taveras card.
