Gorgeous set. What was the last card to complete it?

The Lemieux! It was impossible to find!

Yeah, Andrea, that is an amazing feat to finish that set. I know that the Lemieux and some others were almost non-existent...I believe this is the first time I see this set done. Great job!!!

Yeah, the Mario was definitely hard to find! As well as the Orr..

Awesome! I would also welcome a story detailing your chase of the final few cards and how you acquired them. :)
Many of us know how long you've been working on this. Congratulations!!

I'm sure i'll finish the story soon.. just been pressed for time lately! And thank you :)

Very nice. If I'm counting right, that's 96 cards or about 16x8. Now that its done, are you going to get it framed?

    Cheers,

    Beautiful!

When I heard you had finally tracked down a Lemieux, I was very happy for you.

Set looks great. I do wonder how many other (if any?) complete sets are out there.

Congrats, that set is a tough endeavor! I started building it when the product came out and it took me about three years to finish. I pulled Bowman, Ovechkin, Malkin and most of the rookies from a couple cases and grabbed Lemieux and Gretzky off the bay within the first year. I was down to four, and from that point I had to wait on other people to give up trying to build, not counting the unannounced detour of upper deck releasing the Radulov out of nowhere for replacements. It took me about a year to get a decent price on Crosby and Messier, and about two years to track down Brodeur and Orr. I don't think I had seen a Lemieux for at least two years before you finally polished it off!

    Frank
