I wasn't planning on purchasing The Cup this year.
But while visiting my LCS I got to know that the
3 tins he had left were from a case where the first
3 tins had no big hit.

so I decided to give it a try.

wasn't too bad, even though there was no decoy-tin
and no huge card (in terms of 1/1 or /99 rc)

but it was still worthwile

I think the LCS shop keeper lied, he knew darn well that the case hit had already been pulled. It's the oldest trick in the book for LCS owner to either plead the "I don't know" or the "oh no nothing good has been pulled from that box\case yet"

But still some very nice cards there! did real well with the Roy and Brodeur! Chicago patch is disgusting as well.

I know where you are coming from, but I trust my LCS owner.
He showed me the cards that were pulled (best were 2x zibanejad /249 rc, 1x rainbow zibanejad, dual stanley
cup sig Lecavalier/Richards and dual enshrinements Mikita/Kane)

He had a case sent to him in 2 steps (3 tins each time) and I am wondering if thats where
the possible con happened... I mean 1 case ? 2x zibanejad rc, 2x atkinson rc, 2x richards base... really ?

I won't complain, because I hit some nice cards, but it still feels a bit sour knowing which cards came
out of the "case"
