Is it possible that this guy simply bought singles, from other people who busted The Cup.... and is now flipping them for a profit??

He's from California... so would it be shocking that there's a few high-end wax busters near him, that don't really collect hockey..... but do bust some of the top hockey products, and then simply flip what they pull? If he's got a wad of cash to toss around... and these guys don't have to deal with shipping / eBay to move their high end cards.... is it really unbelievable that someone has the $$$ in hand to buy, and then sell, card like this?

Of course, that would mean that all three of these cards were pulled by people in the San Diego area, and very soon after release date.

I'm just trying to theorize here. It's very unlikely that someone pulled all three of those cards, yes, but that doesn't mean something nefarious happened.

I find it very curious if you look at his other ended auctions. He has a Gretzky SOTT Gold version without the numbering backdoor? I'm having a hard time thinking that they've might forgotten to number the most expensive card that year(2000). Twelve years ago that was a 2k card...

I think somebody will be/are fired and might just be sued back to the stone age.

This is exactly the thing. Look at the sellers past auctions. Tonnes of Upper Deck rookies cards like 8+ Crosby Black Diamond rookies over $130-180 each. Tonnes of Gretzky autos at $150-$300 each. Crosby autos as well. Really a bunch of rare and valuable cards all to this one seller.

    $9000 for a RNH /99 is just WOW...but very risky in long-term!
But the question is if the auctions is legit (that the seller actually has those cards or not)

The seller semms have a flawless +1000 feedback...but pretty crazy that he got 1/1 cards with Lemieux and Crosby plus a
jersey-numbered RNH /99 ARP plus that all those cards his only listings for now!

Since most people deal with cards from more than one manufacturer, he's implying that it supports the position of a back door at UD since a back door at UD wouldn't have access to cards from other products.

Still, there are more than enough junkies for specific products that it doesn't prove anything, just adds to the columns of coincidence or circumstance.

    Cheers,

There is no proof of anything, but the circumstantial evidence is kind of piled up.

Wow not saying the companies are in bed with some collectors or stores, but this one looks mighty suspicious to me.

Been alot of RNH and Hall jersey cards being pulled at waynes in edmonton lately.
