Nice additions. But just out of curiosity, why do you feel you need to tell us the book value of each card you buy?

I just dont want to waste my time with someone WHO will just shoot down what ever someone says.

No offense; but, you seem like you are that kind of person. If that bothers you im sure there are other threads one with the vip stuff can read.

Dig the new adds, especially the auto (obviously) and the 7-11 coin. I remember going to the one across the street from my house and picking up the whole set, little by little! And as for the BVs, keep on posting them. Why the heck not?

You can tell "what kind of person" I am based off of one simple question?

There could be any number of reasons why would you post the BV. Maybe you have some ultimate goal for the $ amount of your Ripken collection, and you're counting down to it. Or, maybe you have some amount that you dedicate towards your collection each month like I do, and you're breaking down what you were able to get for that money. I had no idea. I was genuinely curious.

great stuff. ripken cards will probably always be a safe investment.
i think the BV is kind of interesting. surprised to see a card #'d /5000 worth $30, even if it is Ripken.
