You think this is real or legit?

I am a Bo Jackson super collector and I have thousands of Bo cards baseball and football base, parallels, inserts, GU, and autos. I have seen hundreds of these GU cards from this set and never ever seen one like this. So what do you guys think? Is it legit or real? I say no.

i really doubt there would be a patch like that on a card #'d /489

also fyi, real and legit mean the same thing ;)

On that product Donruss labeled if the card was a patch or not and if it was a patch were on the uniform it came from. ie sleeve patch, logo patch, etc.

That card is just labeled as a plain jersey card so you can figure the card is not real.

No It is altered. Unfortunately a lot of these jumbos were altered. Stay away from it.

Yeah I figured it to be a huge fake. The patch doesn't look like the Royals shoulder patch from back then at all. It would be a nice novelty to have but only if it comes cheap.

Well I can tell you its fake away just by looking closely at the logo its more from the 2000 era of patches on a Royals uniform. Sorry but when Bo played with the Royals from 1986-1990 the closest thing he had on for patchwise might been his 1989 All-Star Game Jersey so like someone else mentioned stand clear of it.

pwaldo is 100% correct...in this set anyways a sleeve patch would be clearly labeled sleeve patch instead of "jersey". 2005 Prime Patches was one of the most specifically labeled sets made. Everything is labeled what it is, jersey/patch/nameplate/number/logo patch/sleeve patch etc...

here's another one I've been watching...frustrating to see people bidding on this junk - I did report it to ebay but they never do anything....
