Had a four block of success: Floyd Bannister, Bill Dawley, Jim Sundberg and Billy Sample. Best part was Mr Sample sent a personal letter to me in reference to a story I shared about a game at Arlington Stadium. Was a very nice surprise. Pics coming tomorrow. Disney Cars success as well with the cards.

Had a decent post holiday mail day. Multiple success and 1 failure. The Failure was Mr. Leonard who sent a note that he is charging $5 for 2 autos. Ill resend with another card and the cash. Recieved signed returns from: Mark Thurmond, Brian Dayett, Jim Fregosi, Reggie Williams, Frank Pastore, Marc Sullivan and the big surprise Bruce Ruffin!! Also got another return from Pixar asking for a Cars voice actor auto.

Congrats on reaching 100 so quickly!! I have to admit that I have been piggy-backing some of your replies, so I thought I could at least thank you for them.

My own project of a signed 1976 Topps Baseball set has become considerably more expensive and tougher since I reached the 450+ mark as I approach 3 years of working on it. I still enjoy getting stuff in the mail, and I like the 87 design and have 1000's of them, so I keep putting a few out there.

Thanks. I've been in conversations with a few other 87 collectors and 400 seems to be the breaking point on 87 as well. I like the 79-80 topps and have thought about trying those next or when things bog down. A lot of good signers from 76?

I'd say a good 250-300 can be had without too much difficulty. I have some of the toughest as well from that set, including Mike Marshall, Andy Messersmith and Lyman Bostock, but I am still searching for Munson, Murtaugh, Miley and Danny Thompson to name a few. That's a couple thousand $$ right there in 4 cards. It will be slow going and expensive from here on out; I'd like to get 600 different signed though.
