I really like the design but the orange b-ball texture is a little distracting

Great job. I'd suggest trying to put the team name where the lower player name is right now (and then lfigure something out for the number 15....maybe even lose it). I'd consider coming up with a name for your set an putting it alogn the bottom (where your have the team name and number now).
I'd also do a test. Print out a card and sign it with a sharpie. See how it looks with an actual auto on it. It can even be your own signature. It's more to see how the ink works (or doesn't work) with the background texture and color. I'm going to bet a good black sharpie marker looks sweet on that basketball texture.
Looking forward to seeing more.

@size17shoes - thanks for the feedback. will try to tone down the Orange color.
@bamlinden, appreciate the feedback.
Here's my second revision. I might need to change the grey/silver border on the autograph section. Any suggestions?
I might also rename the set name to HARDWOOD LEGENDS and put THROUGH THE MAIL AUTOGRAPH instead of AUTHENTIC SIGNATURES. What do you think?
Please keep the feedback coming... thanks

much better! the B-Ball texture is more realistic looking now rather than the bright orange. The use of the set name looks great. Might have to hire you to make me a few lol.

looks good. never saw anyone use autograph through the mail before. In the team and name area, I envisioned the team color for some odd reason. I think silver would go better than gold. you have talent!

I like version two better, but at the end of the day, the decision is yours.
Be careful about changing things for the sake of making change. As well, simpler is sometimes better.
I would recommend leaving things for a few days and then come back to it. You might like or dislike things more immediate rather than humming about certain details.
At the end of the day, I think it's a great looking concept.

thanks for the inputs. I will give it a few more days to see if want to make further changes. Below is the most recent version.
Thank you very much again.Last edited by MHTan; 10-22-2012 at 06:16 AM.

I'd maybe try to make the wood flooring brighter. Looks great though. Good work.
