2011 Finest Box and 2 MoT Independence Edition Boxes
Some cards I had ordered a week or so ago finally came in. Started with the 2011 Finest. First mini-box left quite a bit to be desired:
Seems like Ryan Bader shows up in all of my breaks!
Wiman's a good fighter but just don't get too excited about pulling his cards.
About the only thing I took away from this mini-box was that at least the Chris Leben Jumbo Relic looked cool.
The second mini-box was kinder to me thankfully, nothing jaw dropping but some solid hits:
I might not be a big Anderson Silva fan, but I respect his talent and never feel bad pulling his cards.
Anthony "Showtime" Pettis! Very cool card capturing that crazy moment with his kick off the cage. Hurts me a little bit b/c I'm a Ben Henderson fan, but loved that fight they had in the WEC. Hoping they get to square off again in the UFC sometime if Pettis could manage to stay healthy long enough to fight again.
Jon "Bones" Jones! 1/88! Ebay 1/1 I think is what they're calling it these days.
Junior Dos Santos Gold Refractor /88! Love this guy!
Decent box overall, could have been a lot better or a lot worse.
The Moment of Truth Independence Boxes yield some nice low #'d auto's but nobody I collect.
