2012 SCF Survivor Segment 8, Race 1: Phoenix
Here are the basic rules:
1. Pick a driver that you think will finish in the top 10.
2. You may pick the same driver only ONCE per segment. So choose carefully. If you use the same driver twice, you are eliminated.
3. If the driver you pick finishes outside the top 10, you are eliminated.
4. The top five finishers receive points toward the season championship. Five points for first, four points for second, and so on.
5. The people who 'survive' this week will advance to the next race. Those eliminated will have to wait for the next segment to start in order to play again.

just out of curiosity whats the tie breaker if at the end of the season the overall lead is tied?

We'll probably do it just like NASCAR. Segment wins first, then 2nd place finishes, 3rd place finishes, etc. Until we have a winner. Don't quote me on that though--final decision is up to racecrazy. I'll let you guys know as soon as he lets me know.

Okay thanks for the explanation will wait for racecrazy.
Since theres only two races left how will we decide the segment winner after Homestead, highest finisher of the race?

Yep. Whoever advances to Homestead will just pick a driver (that no one else has picked--to avoid tiebreakers), and highest finisher wins. So it'll be first come, first served for drivers to pick for Homestead.

I have informed Jeremy of what we usually do in these situations-figured Id post it here too. This next race survivor will play as normal with everyone picking w/e driver to finish in the top 10. Whomever advances to Homestead will be allowed to pick any driver they want who they think will win. In the case of a tie for first average speed will be the tiebraker-so next week whomever advances can pick whomever they want along with the average speed. this week play as normal. if your confused pm me please
