Long time, No RC

Hello,
Looking for players who made an impact or had a decent career but never got a RC or players who never got a RC for 3-5 years into their career. I am trying to make rookie cards of them. Looking mostly for 80s guys. Any leads?

How about one of my all-time favourite players Adam Graves. He made his NHL debut with the Red Wings in the 1987-88 Season, but didn't get RCs until 1990-91, when he was with the Oilers.

This is cool...Chris Kontos who was the TB expansion superstar...had like a four-goal game. Brian Bradley's another one I think they were late on. Pelle Eklund, Sylvain Lefebvre, The Courtnalls I think were all late to come out. Check Calle Johansson, Bengt Gustafsson and Jamie Macoun as well.

Quite a few of those lesser-known RCs in the 80s had a few years under their belt all the way up until 1990-91 which also had quite a few.

Kelly Buchberger.

He got his first NHL action in 1986-87 (playoffs) and played for the Oilers in each of the next 3 seasons, before finally getting a rookie card in 1990-91.

Shayne Corson is another.

First played for the Habs in 85-86, didn't get a RC until 89-90.

Never even thought about this, but yeah those players did not get a RC for a while, keep in mind there were not that many sets back then. Now as soon as a guy steps on the ice or sits as a back up and the bench a RC is ready to roll in the next set even if the guy never pans out
