Danny Granger out 3 months
A shame he is an up and coming star
The Indiana Pacers expect to be without Danny Granger for approximately the next three months after the star forward had an injection to treat patellar tendinosis in his left knee, the team announced Wednesday.

Granger had the injection on Tuesday. It was performed by Dr. James Andrews in Gulf Breeze, Fla.
Granger originally suffered his knee injury during last spring's Eastern Conference semifinals. The team announced late last month that he was sidelined indefinitely because of his sore left knee.
He averaged a team-best 18.7 points per game last season. The Pacers are 2-2 this season without their star small forward.
Granger has averaged 18.2 points and 5.2 rebounds in seven NBA seasons, and though he played through the injury in May, it flared up again while he was doing offseason workouts. In September, he underwent blood-platelet treatment.
