Democrat-Boycotting Libertarian Eric Dondero on Whether He Would Let a Democrat Drown

Republicans around the country are responding to President Obama's reelection in a variety of ways — among them: anger, depression, finger-pointing. But nobody had the same reaction as Eric Dondero, a former Ron Paul aide who blogs at LibertarianRepublican.net. In a post yesterday, Dondero, reasoning that the only recourse to Obama's victory is "outright revolt," laid out the terms of the "personal boycott" against Democrats which he plans to maintain for the rest of his life and that he hopes his followers will as well. What does the boycott entail? Cutting all ties with Democratic family members, friends, and lovers; refusing to work for a Democratic boss; spitting on the ground when a Democrat talks to you; and possibly ™™™™ting on your Democratic neighbor's lawn, among other things:

Actually, Eric was not the only one - I sent the following email to my friends the day after the election:

Friends,

FYI - I sent this email (see below) to a few Liberal "friends" whom I no longer wish to associate with. Perhaps it is because of our tolerance of people like them that we did not do enough to help a real leader gain control of the White House...

Our desire for reasonableness; tolerance, and to get along and be politically correct has a very steep price; losing the election is just the beginning.

This is not the end for our country, but if we give-up and don't keep fighting it could be...

Let's make sure that we do our part each day by tirelessly spreading information and the truth even when it seems like a losing battle, otherwise our dreams for America coming back and becoming great again will die!

Giving up is not an option!

It is because of people like you who have absolutely no idea about what you've just done by giving a failure another four years to further erode our republic is that America will never be the same again...

Our land has become a nation of those who rather be taken care of by the government (other taxpayers) than pursue the American Dream.

Because you only care about single issues that you perceive might affect you in a positive way you voted someone into power who is destroying the dreams and aspirations of many, leaving the country without without a real leader who could guide us back to prosperity.

You watch the "news" that is manufactured to keep feeding you misinformation and designed to keep you in your place.

The coverups and news blockage will continue to help this administration control the population and get away with blatant violations of the Constitution of the United States.

Your irresponsible and ignorant actions will jeopardize our already fragile freedom of speech; freedom of information, and our individual rights to pursue happiness.

P.S. - Ignorance is not a valid defense in criminal cases... Similarly; Ignorance should not be excused when voting an incompetent leader into power who is systematically destroying our republic. Elections have consequences - as pompous Obama declared once... In my world one of those consequences is never talking to those responsible for extending this horrible national nightmare
