Expo Pickups - Superlative, Certified, + PC
Just returned, had a good time. Was kinda bummed though, didn't see many Barrasso's or Hextall's.
Spun the wheel at ITGLand and won a arena Box of 07-08 H+P.

Awesome Superlative box, you can't go wrong with one really & at least we don know how many boxes they actually made since each is serial # to 1500. I also like the fact for a high end product that they put all the cards in top loaders the way a $300-$500 product should be.

great breaks! I didn't see any Barrasso and the only Hextall I saw was a recent autograph (I think from Dominion) for around $20.
I didn't see ANY Kirk McLean stuff I needed either...Main Wants right now: 2000-01 Titanium Game Gear & Patches, 1995-96 Pinnacle Rink Collection, 1995-96 Topps Home Grown Series 2
Always looking for Kirk McLean cards I don't have.

Bummer! I saw a couple McLean BTP GU's that was it. There were actually a few Hextall cards, but I had most of them.

When I popped a 'cracked ice' (which is what your sedin card is from the panini redemption booth) they told me all cracked ice are numbered to 25 or less even though they're not numbered. Have fun getting those player collectors :)

In nowadays appears that mostly of the collectors are just interested in super high-ends with allt those hottest rookies and for the rest (non super-stars) they doesn't gives a **** about....
But it was a ineed quite pleasent surprise to see that Barrasso suddenly got 4 more cards (redemptions) than I has imagined but 3x multiplayer 1/1 cards of his 8x 12-13 cards so this far isn't fun....PC-PLAYERS: Tom Barrasso & Johan Hedberg - Hidden Content

I agree w/ both of your points. It stuns mme how much flavor-of-the-month rookie cards go for.
