View my store BetaAre the Marlins dumping Salaray to make a run at Hamilton? Something else has to be in the works right?

View my store Betagoing to Miami would be:
SP Henderson Alvarez, SS Yunel Escobar, SS Adeiny Hechavarria, SP Justin Nicolino, OF Jake Marisnick
Here is the rundown on each guy...
Alvarez - a Venezuelan starting pitching prospect with more than a season of mlb pitching under his belt at a young age still. His fastball is mid-90s and has life, but he is a pitch-to-contact guy, and has struggled striking out batters and getting the outs hey needs in tough situations.
Escobar - the talent is there, but he only shows flashes of it, never with any consistency. He has now proven with both Atlanta and Toronto that he is a meat head capable of bone headed plays, and even worse off-field antics. He means well, he's just... not the brightest crayon in the box.
Hechavarria - the Jays paid lots of money to snag this guy on the international market (cuba) a few years ago. The lowdown on him has always been that he's already a superb defensive SS, but his bat is still in question.
Nicolino - one of a handful of very good young pitching prospect that the Jays have, but he's still very green and at least 2-3 years away from the bigs still.
Marisnick - he's supposed to be a beast of an OF talent, but like Nicolino, he's also several years removed from being a major league ball player.

View my store BetaFor his sake, I hope they trade Giancarlo Stanton. He does not deserve to be kept there.

View my store BetaThe rundown on the jays players going is pretty accurate but you need to remember that escobar is a major headache as well and he has already accomplished at the big league level his ceiling. Solid player all across the board, but nothing spectacular. Nicollino is #3 in terms of their fire balling prospects with Syndegard and Sanchez being one and two and that's why he became expendable. Marisnick is another anthony gose, but gose is more major league ready. the marlins are going to be bad for 5 years at least with this trade, but the jays should contend next year.

View my store BetaLooks like the little delay is b/c the players are undergoing physicals and Selig actually cares about what the Marlins fans think. Who here believes this? lol.

View my store BetaSelig is just pretending to look it over, but he will approve..If I ran the Marlins, I would have had to have Lawrie and Gose added to the deal along with Drabek and Arenchibia and maybe Rasmus as well..
