Yankees sign Hiroki Kuroda to a 1 year deal

The Yankees have agreed to terms on a one-year contract with Hiroki Kuroda, reports ESPN's Buster Olney. The deal will pay Kuroda $15MM in 2013, plus incentives of under $1MM.

Good for him! Get all he can before he goes back to playing for peanuts in Japan. He'll probably be the most reliable member of their rotation for a second year.

I like it, thought he might be going to boston. I believe they were in the mix.Fans up here are anxious for the sox to do something. But there really isn't that much out there. hamilton? 5-7 yrs? Most don't want that. Not sure if he can handle the scrutiny
