Forbes report does NHL no favors
Some Friday lockout musings for your dining and dancing pleasure:
Over the past 10 days, NHL commissioner Gary Bettman has taken a rather, um, unique approach to negotiating. After proposing the two sides take a two-week break, he’s now broaching the possibility the leaders of both sides step aside in favor having of a group of owners and players try to break the stalemate.
This is not Bettman’s shining moment. The NHL’s board of governors pays him $8 million a year and by abdicating his responsibility as the chief negotiator, he’s not exactly earning it.

Bettman simply assumed the players would fold before October 8th. Not a chance. When all the egg is wiped off all the faces, he will still by the solitary one, wiping his face the longest.
Abject failure as a Commissioner and should be given the Sack. His twerp lawyer Dad, David Stern is now doing his best in trying to tell the SA Spurs how to coach their team. The bell-end just fined the team 250K for sitting out 4 stars on the end of a ten game road-trip, which is no business of Stern.
Sack them both and lets proceed with some common sense in Sport.
