How many cards would a 50lb box get me?

onecards has a special sending you 50 pounds of cards for $149 which includes their own special box. So my question is, is how many baseball cards that would be to sort through? 30,000 cards or even more then that.

Probably depends on the type of card since some are heavier than others but if you have a small scale just put a pound on the scale and then count how many cards it took. Then multiply it by 50 to get a rough idea of how many cards you will receive.

Believe it or not, I don't have a scale that is accurate to the pound, thus why I was asking. Googling, a complete set of 2012 Topps is about 3.5 pounds. Using that, I'm figuring around 10,000 cards or so, which isn't worth a 1.5 cents a common. The $5 bricks at the LCS are cheaper per card. I might just try a 10 pound of them for $39 just to see what I get, at least the shipping is free.

However, I'm hooked on those $1 packs at Dollar Tree with 30 cards.

I have 50 lbs of cards to send you for less then $150. If you really love commons let me know. The card companies are going to eventually get rid of commons all together. If you notice they have less and less sets with commons in them. The collectors don't really collect sets that much any more.
