The Panini America QC Gallery & Checklist: 2012-13 Classics Signatures Hockey

Make no mistake about it: Panini America’s 2012-13 Classics Signatures Hockey is the right release at the right time — and there might not be a more appropriate product name the rest of the season. An old-school-hockey lover’s dream, this one-autograph-per-pack gem is filled with, as its name suggests, classic signatures galore.

Graced with a refreshingly simplistic throwback design and a checklist that reads like a best-selling hockey history book, Classics Signatures is steeped in on-card autographs and marks the anticipated return of Panini America’s Social Signatures and Notable Nicknames inserts.

Looks like a nice design. I won't be buying any boxes, but definitely will be hunting around for a few PC cards.

Nice looking cards. Going to chase the Rangers base Autos, especially the Kypreos with the '94 Cup inscription and the Matteau. As a team collector, it is nice to see some different players in the Auto checklist.

Looks good, but price point should be around $120-$125, not $180. I'll have to see a few breaks to pronounce final judgment. It looks like even if you get a mid/high-range SP but 5 others like Harry Howell, you won't come near making your money back.

Dunno man.........between this and Parkhurst Champions and 06/07 Parkhurst I think I'm gonna stick with finishing off Fleer Greats. At $30 for a pack, pulling a Geoff Courtnall or Dan Cloutier or yet another King Richard doesn't exactly blaze my Canucks PC up any.........no offense.
