Want your thoughts - My last sold card on eBay
I am very happy and did not expect this for this card: http://www.ebay.ca/itm/2012-13-Certi...#ht_574wt_1271
High end player but a set like Certified with so many parallels, I was hoping for maybe $15-20 at most.
Regardless, I will send the buyer a few extras.

Surprising... but at the same time makes a lot of sense. The cards look really really nice, especially the parallels, and not a lot of it is being opened. In other words, less out on the market, the bigger demand on the secondary,

Mayyyyyyybe this is the dawn of a new Golden Age of Parallel Collecting? Maybe we're all finally sick of the little bits of cloth in the cards of the players we don't care about that come from the $35 packs that sell for $3??
Prolly not, prolly more what Flop said. Good for you, more pack-busting money eh?
It IS a really nice card, if I'da pulled it I'da never known how much I could have gotten for it :)

I have been an Yzerman Super collector most of the last 25 years. I would only pay $15.00 for that card, but more than likely not even want it. He is not playing now, makes a huge difference.
Sorry, but you took this to the bank.Collecting many HOF Cards, Old OPC, Old Parkhurst, Old Topps.

A lot of player collectors have reported finding trouble with /25 and lower parallels from this year's Certified - some of the bidders involved may have been going on the mentality that they may not see another copy for quite some time.
