Rare and Junk or rare and valuable Patrick Roy's
I have some 99-00 Aurora Inserts of Patrick Roy that are prototypes. One is a championship fever and four different complete player variations. These cards have a small tear drop diecut holes in the left corner to denote they were prototypes I assume. They are not serial numbered like the originals. There is not a single one eBay and I tried googling them and just pacific prototypes in general and can't find anything that looks like what I have. Can anyone shed light?
I also have about 5-6 more Roy's from other pacific brands that have the word "sample" stamped on them that I can't find either soif anyone knows anything about those I'd greatful for any info.
ThanksCheck out my ebay listings if you like. ID is mineral02

I had some theo fleury samples like these. Way back when I think I paid around $20 each for them. Put them on ebay last year & I'm pretty sure I didn't clear $5 shipped for any of them and that was when his stuff was selling like mad. They are pretty rare but it doesn't seem like too many people are interested in them.

I have Marty Brodeur Zenith samples like this as well. To the Roy collector that is not concerned with fabric, these are very valuable. They are all designated promos. Similar to when you buy almost new but used cards in Las Vegas. They counterpunch a hole into them so that they are not sold as actual product.
With these sample prototypes however, there are a lot less of them made than regular issue, or SP issue printings, or Las Vegas Casino card decks.

Thanks for the info everyone. I think I will post some pics for others to see. I love the Complete Player inserts best because a couple have backs that are different colors than the front which I think makes them unique. The embossed "sample" ones I think are mega rare but I almost wish I had the regular version because those would book high.
