Eleven blister packs of 07-08 Black Diamond from TRU - Beat the odds!

After reading about the "Buy 1, get one half off" sale at Toy R' Us, I drove to the mall and bought 8 of the 3-pack blisters of 07-08 Black Diamond. After beating some odds, I decided to go back today and buy the rest - 3 more packs (there were about 6 when I left yesterday). I also bought a blister pack of 07-08 Ice which had nothing (as expected).

In total 11 blister packs = 33 retail packs:

So overall, I did very well with the odds. 2 quad rookies and an auto in 33 packs. The Toews was the only rookie that I pulled yesterday and today in 9 packs I pulled the Raymond, Dubinsky, and Chipchura RCs. Everything is for trade except the Toews RC.

It's a pretty good deal and a cheap way to fill the urge of opening packs.... decent ones too. The 3-pack blisters are $3 each and they have the sale. The 8 blisters yesterday (24 packs) that I bought yesterday cost $20.34 after taxes.

Quincey must have been inserted a lot into the retail, last time at TRU when they had the 1$ bin I grabbed 40 packs of BD (all they had) and bunch of 07-08 Series 1, and also pulled only one gemography being that same one.... to go with Bryan Little's Quad Diamond Gold /10 :D .

Nice breaks all around, beauty with the Toews!

Might stop by TRU here, but im sure they have been cleaned out already

Awesome Toews hit! I bought 3 of those Black Diamond blisters at regular price. 9 packs total. Got a Bobby Ryan Quad RC, Lucic Triple RC, Torrey Mitchell Triple Rookie, and some regular double diamonds. Good deal at $3 for 3 packs.

Better deal with buy one get one half price. When does the sale end?
