This is it, folks. The final week of the NCAA Guess the Score Contest!
There is currently a three-way tie for first place. Will one of the three win this week, or will it be a four-way split of the 1000cc grand prize?
Our final game to guess the score for is one of those match-ups that truly transcends college football, the Army-Navy game.
Though they have been slowed to a 2-9 record this year, Army's rushing attack continues to be the best in the nation. Averaging a NCAA-leading 370 yards per game on the ground, the Black Knights feature TWO 1,000 backs, including their QB, Trent Steelman, who has rushed for almost double as many yards as he has passed for.
Navy will be playing in the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl next week vs. Arizona State, after a 7-4 season. It looked rough at the start for the Middies, losing 3 of their first 4, but they have righted the ship (sorry), winning 6 of 7 to close the year out right. Nine different players have scored rushing touchdown's for Navy this year, and Keenan Reynolds has proved himself a more than capable passer, with an 8-to-1 TD to INT ratio.
It's the battle of the triple option offenses, and two of the nation's storied service academies. Good luck to all this week, and for all of the service members reading this, thank you for your service.
