well this will be a fun thread to visit in a couple months to see if like me, you are curious about your offseason sales. I will post sales that I make and you make and we can both voice opinions on if the card will go up, or if you got a good price for it.

My thought: Getting 82.00 for a card that recently sold for 45.00 seems pretty good right? But trumbo is a risk selling in the offseason due to the monster power he has and he is relatively young (26). He mightily struggled in the second half this year (.205 average) so I think it was a good time to dump him, as it seem he has peaked.

My thought: nearly 28 dollars for a numbered parallel of a 26 year old with 33 major league at bats seems pretty good. Ruf does have a lot of pop though (1 hr every 11 at bats), but I think I made out like a bandit here. He is only in 2 products (bowman chrome and pro debut, but when topps starts printing his rookie cards, I think this card will also come back to earth.

My thought: Swisher cards do not sell well at all considering he is a yankee, So I figured this was good since it sold for 0.99 cents recently.

I'm not too high on Trumbo so I would be thrilled to get $82 for his rookie autograph

Lets see if I were into any of them but the Swisher lets see how I take a look at them 1st up is the Trumbo well....the price is fair but after viewing the card it be more into a trade bait piece for me next up the Darin Ruf card another pass up for trade if I were to own it now the Swisher conscidering I have the base set complete I would say it would be added to my PC collection but with the scribbles I have to say it be in PC with a possible trade if I were to ask a friend if he has it even if he has it already in his collection I still give it to him in hopes he knowledges me on a future trade down the line. Thats my take on these.

this next sell is pretty interesting.

This is an autograph card of Touki Toussaint who is a 16 year commited to university of miami. Now you would think 105.00 for an autograph of a sixteen your old is alot, but he recently topped at 97. I am taking a gamble on this one, but this guy could potentially be drafted 6 years from now and I will have forgotten about it.

Wow prospecting 6 years out, definitely a gamble and in 6 years if it were me I would have lost the card or forgot where I put it.
