Ryan Arakaki's part-time job plays to his passion for hockey and helps pay the bills. But his bank account has taken a hit as a player lockout has postponed -- and may eliminate -- the National Hockey League season.
Typically, Arakaki would race from his full-time job at a local movie theater to the Glendale arena three nights a week.
Arakaki, 25, of Gilbert, is part of the 13-member crew that maintains the ice during Phoenix Coyotes games at Jobing.com Arena.
