This guy was a piece of work when I didn't receive a card he sent: leximo2

This gal just didn't pay: 11.sherbear

Definitely block 11.sherbear - this ebay'er won some items from me, then zero communication. Would not reply to my messages nor the non-paying bidder alert, despite the fact that they were clearly online leaving feedback for other auctions before, during, and after my attempts to deal with them. Silly me, I forgot to actually block this user the first time around, and sure enough, they won even more items from me the following month, with again zero communication, despite the fact they were clearly active on ebay the whole time (finally blocked them after that round). I get the feeling they simply don't understand a bid is a commitment to buy, and just toss bids on any random items then decide which ones to actually pay for later if they so choose. Clearly I'm not the only one who's had this experience with 11.sherbear - they also have numerous "positive" feedbacks which really contain negative messages from frustrated sellers who can't actually neg a buyer.

do not sell to buyers with less than 50 feedback , i have been a very good seller for a while now, but now we have these newbies that are ruining my feedback saying they never recieved there cards , or charge tracked shipping thats what im gonna start doing .

    this is horrible advice
youll never gain customers if you dont give new customers an oppurtunity to buy
if nobody sells to people under 50 feedback, how the heck are they supposed to get 50 feedback?

i know ebay has scammers, but blocking sales to anyone with low feedback is silly, people with low feedback are often much better than people with 30,000 feedback,

it is one to be cautious about bad buyers, but please remember to be a good seller! Ship fast, ship safe and communicate.
I find being a good, responible sellers is the only way to go, but it is often forgotten. Take pride in your packaging, charge fair ship fees and ship out asap after payment received.

The only advise I would offers about buyers is this...
low end cards sell auction style, so if you have to refund it is minimal, anything over a predetermine limit sell it as BIN/Best Offer, that way you can research the buyer and decide to sell or not. This works for me and so far have not taken a loss. I also follow my own advise for sellers.

The buyer is not the issue with my latest one yesterday. He has purchased 2 times previously and the amount is not large. It's somebody inside Quebec at Canada Post.

No difficulties anywhere, but Quebec. I wisely stopped shipping to Russia 4 years ago. They steal everything.

    This is great advice.

I just don't even list the little stuff unless they run listing specials, etc. I sell everything as BIN/BO and have found that good communication protects you more than anything else. Some buyers want you to give them your cards, so I do still find the need to block buyers, but I prefer to research them as they find me rather than seeking them out...

I am a new buyer and reading some of the posts in here I have to totally disagree about buyers with less than 50 feedback. All my purchases are paid for immediately and I mean within 5 minutes, so to say that all buyers with limited feedback and shady is not true at all. I haven't had problems with any seller on ebay except for the rare person that lacks in communication. But I have gotten all my cards in a quck fashion so I can't really complain.

I also noticed that a lot of sellers don't ship their cards 100% safely. I have gotten a couple of packages over the last couple of weeks where team bags haven't been used and 1 touches were just shipped with 1 piece of tape to seal it. Again, not a big deal since the cards got here safe, but I've always shipped in a team bag, tape and decoys just to ensure safety.

I agree with you wholeheartedly. If everyone had this kind of attitude ebay would have a "big boys" club attitude and wouldn't have a chance to grow at all.

Anyone deal with amishdavescollectibles ( 1031 ) before?

Feedback seems good but hasn't responded to 2 of my messages about payment which is already late.
