What cheeses me off is there is an American seller who wants to charge $25 shipping to Canada unless you pay him via "paypal gift", then it's only $5. I get why he does this, but it is against ebay policy, and I refuse to give in...but I can't find this fricken card anywhere else!

I charge $2.75 shipping to the US for non-GU, $2.95 for GU. It's keeps the DSRs high for a 20% discount on fees.

I'm planning to change it soon for non-GU though, probably $2.40-$2.50.

The last month or so i have been charged higher shipping when buying.
I know the shipping gone up so thats ok.
The strange thing is on the packages i get it have been postmarked with 4.36-4.63$ but i have paid from 6.50-8.00$ in shipping?.
Are sellers trying to take advantage of the new rates or am i missing something here.
Its just a couple of bucks but when it happens often it adds up.
Should i mail the sellers asking why they charge me 2-3$ moore?

I have to charge a 2-3bucks over the shipping cost as the bubble mailers for them cost $1.50 each plus misc supplies. So the postage cost on the pkg doesnt reflect the additional costs of packing .<BR sab="1080">

ebay problem question , please help

Hello and thank you for reading.

I sold a card back on 1/21 to a member in Canada (I am in the Southeast USA).
They paid right away and have a PO Box address in Western Canada.
I Shipped the day after from the Post Office I always ship from.
I uploaded the Customs Declarations Form # that night and left + feedback.
About a month later the buyer messaged me saying no package received yet.
I responded explaining how I shipped immediately, provided a good confirmation
number and said that it was in the hands of the Postal System.
Today, the buyer messaged me back saying that it was still not received.
They said that I have been putting them off and that if I dont give a full refund they are leaving negative feedback.

My question is should I just refund them to avoid the trouble (its a $15 card)?
Or should I not refund, but risk the negative feedback on a good ebay account?

    Thank you for any input.
    Antoine

No its the number that they scan on the customs declaration form they make us fill out. If you type in the number on the USPS site after they scan it in it "confirms" that the shipment has been made.

I also have the original receipt. Either way its not like I promised tracking in the original auction.
