I live out in AZ and I know that some teams will practice before games. There are a lot of players in camp so even the ones who are not playing in the games will still get work in.

Should you be shooting for a high success rate look at who signed last ST as a guide. I always look at coaches as well as players. Just be aware that some might not be around with the World Baseball Classic rolling.

Im sending out 2012 Allen Ginter and 1987 Topps cards and will send about 50-80. Most of mine will be random player selecting and finger crossing. After last year 2 of 50 returned Im really hoping for better success. Last year I sent 2012 Topps Golden Futures and Topps Turkey Red inserts, little success but got back 1 of each-Ackley and Drew.

This is the first year I'm really considering sending several out during ST. But that return rate you stated (4%) makes me think it would be a huge waste of time and money...
