Back when I lived in Halifax, I had a great one that my wife got me from Jysk. They have a couple of models available, depending on how many cards you want to show off you can get a single door or a double door case. I had the single. 4 shelves, and I could fit anywhere between 12-16 cards per shelf with the use of card stands and display risers. Oh those were the days...

If there's an Ikea nearby, they also have items that can be used as display cases. Last one I saw sold for around $100 and had 3 glass shelves that I guesstimate could each hold about to 8-10 cards or so. Plenty enough to show off. ;)

I have a china cabinet that was doing nothing now sitting in my living room as a card display. Does a good job.
