Yep the blood game rivalry between the Wings/Aves is definitely the most memorable.

Maybe something from the '97 Stanley Cup finals with the Flyers (2 of the greatest lines of the 90's) with the Russian 5 and the Flyers Legion of doom.

Early 90's, Probert/Domi round 1 with Domi doing the WWE belt thing. The build-up for their next meeting in NY was crazy and did not dissapoint. This thread made me remember it, thanks. Mayhem ensues with Gallant/Broten and Chaisson/Cirella going at it. Sorry for all those who don't want fighting in hockey but it was freakin' awesome and had me going back to you-tube to check it out again. You could probably say the re-match was as awesome with Yzerman doing the belt thing to Domi after Probert thumps him.

i know its not a good "light" on detroit but the game draper went down by lemieux. That game turned on the rivalry all by itself. obvious people would be on the card.
