Rudickulous did to much work for me not to copy and paste his last 2012 ST Thread post:
"So being bored in my classes today, i decided to pay attention to something I love near and dear, sports. That being Spring Training being around the corner. So in my free time, I wrote down every success that was placed in this thread from ST 2012. This can be a tool for some people and how to plan accordingly in 2013.
The following all signed or sent an autograph back:

Thanks for the shout out Indy, but for everybody good luck this year. And remember that if you do not get your stuff back at the end of ST, keep faith. People dont always send during the camps. A good portion of mine came after so keep faith! Good Luck!Reached 100 autos by 2012 (Actual number achieved=200)

Last year was worst ever, picked a topps insert set i loved, Golden Futures and mailed out the entire set. Recieved back 1, Dustin Ackley. Then sent off about 10-20 random cards to injured players from the previous year, only to get back 1-stephen Drew. So went 2-40!!
Im going back to base sets this year, 2012 Allen Ginter and of course 1987 Topps to send out. Im expecting to climb back to the 50-75% success rate. Half the 1987 Topps are decent signers and the Allen ginter Im sending to multiple players who signed in 2012 or 2011."My whole philosophy is to broadcast the way a fan would broadcast." Harry Caray
Collects: Cubs Topps Parallel sets

I was 79 of 193 and under 50% is poor showing for my typical ST! The difference is that I ended up getting a good number of players that I did not have instead of adding so many high percentage players to pad my numbers last season! I will be happy with the same type of percentage again this season! Look not just at your percentage, but what you had gotten in! My biggest highlights included Tony Perez, Alan Trammell, Joey Votto, C. Kershaw and Josh Hamilton! Add another 74 successes to that list and the close to $200 in postage was worth it! That is like two Hobby boxes should I went that way instead and would have gotten nowhere near that amount of sigs in two boxes!
