2012-13 NHL Season Predictor - Leg 4 of the Jaunt for the Jersey!

Welcome to the 2012-13 SCF NHL Season Predictor! This is the 4th leg of the Jaunt for the Jersey contest and thanks again to Ramjak Sports for donating the signed Edmonton Oilers jersey!

You now have the opportunity to make your bold predictions on the outcomes of the regular season and playoffs! With a shortened regular season with each team playing 48 games a piece, we can certainly expect to watch a lot of exciting and competitive hockey.

The grand prize for the NHL Season Predictor this year will be a $50.00 gift card to Ramjak Sports' online store.

With the regular season quickly approaching, there is a short deadline to enter your picks! The deadline to enter all of your predictions for this contest is January 19, 2013.

For scoring this contest, there will be a wide range of topics among 50 questions ranging from team performance, scoring races, and individual performances! 1 point will be awarded for each correct prediction.

Rules
All predictions must be submitted by filling out the following form: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/...lFaEE6MQ#gid=0

Each prediction must have the players first and last name (Taylor Hall) or team name (Edmonton Oilers) for each of the predictions. Spelling is important (for sorting purposes) and nicknames will not be accepted.

For each correct prediction (excluding the tie-break questions), you will be awarded 1 point for this contest. The person with the most points will be the winner if the NHL Season Predictor Contest. In addition, your total points from this contest will be added to your overall point total in the Jaunt for the Jersey!

In addition to your predictions, during the course of the season you must successfully complete a minimum of 5 trades at SCF. Trades are to be posted in the thread. This applies to trades initiated between January 19th and the end of the regular season. Please edit your original post and post the links there.

Any Infractions or Negative Trade Feedback received during the contest will result in an automatic disqualification from the contest.

The member with the most total points once the NHL awards have been handed out shall be declared the winner of the contest, and be awarded the $50.00 gift card for Ramjak Sports' online store. Should an award not be given out by the NHL this year, then the question and answers submitted pertaining to that award will be omitted from the contest.

In the event that there is a tie for first place at the end of the contest, the winner will be determined as follows:
A. Winner of the contest will be the person who has the closest prediction to T1.
B. If there is still a tie after A., the winner of the contest will be the person who has the closest prediction to T2.
C. If there is still a tie after B., the winner of the contest will be the person who has the closest prediction to T3.

The tie-break questions are:
T1. How many penalty minutes will the regular season penalty minutes leader have?
T2. How many goals will Nail Yakupov score in the regular season?
T3. How many saves will Pekka Rinne have in the regular season?

All entries must be submitted by January 19^th at 12pm EDT. Late entries will not be accepted.

In the event that a member submits the form for predictions more than once in the contest, that last submission before the deadline will be accepted and all others from that member will be omitted.
