Slow start to the IP autos this year, but today I got three autographs from Chicago Wolves (AHL) forward Michael Davies, 2 cards, and 1 8x10 photocard, for free, at an event in Vernon Hills, IL.

Today I got two autographs from current Chicago Bulls guard Nate Robinson, for free, at an appearance in Addison, IL. I got one card and one 8x10 signed, and he inscribed '3x Slam Dunk Champion' on the 8x10.

This evening, I got an autograph from Chicago Blackhawks center/enforcer Jamal Mayers, one card signed for free, at an appearance in Munster, IN.

Today, I spent some time celebrating Black History Month in Chicago, and was able to meet and get two autographs from the only 5-time Heavyweight Champion, Evander Holyfield, who was in town to promote his new barbecue sauce. Unfortunately, he would only sign the barbecue sauce bottles, (1 for every 6 bottles bought), although he signed some photos for the first couple of people in line, but that was quickly stopped. There was a ton of media, including all the local news stations, interviews, general commotion, etc. And he was 45 minutes late. To make matters worse from an autograph perspective, there was also a special surprise appearance by Mike Tyson, who came in for 5 minutes to get footage for his upcoming reality show, promote his Broadway show, and run out the back door, signing nothing.

At least I have two bottles of hot barbecue sauce.

Today I went to the Big 10 Women's Basketball Tournament, and there was a free autograph session between two games with some former Big 10 stars.
I got 4 autographs on cards from former University of Illinois basketball star Kendall Gill.

I got 4 autographs on cards from former University of Illinois basketball star Kenny Battle.

I got 8 autographs on cards from former Wisconsin football star, winner of the Heisman Trophy, and former NY Giants, Denver Broncos, and Houston Texans running back Ron Dayne.

Finally, I got 4 autographs on cards, and 2 autos on 8x10s from former Michigan State basketball star Mateen Cleaves, who led the Spartans to the 2000 NCAA National Title.

I also got two autographs from former Ohio State women's basketball star Jessica Davenport.

Today, I got 2 autographs from Chicago Blackhawks enforcer Jamal Mayers, 1 8x10, and 1 card, at a Cooking With the Blackhawks event at Meijer in Berwyn, IL. I also got an autograph of current radio voice, and former Blackhawks player Troy Murray, who signed a generic Blackhawks logo 8x10.

After the Mayers signing, I went to a radio show taping, and got 4 autographs for free of Chicago Blackhawks center Dave Bolland, at a tavern in Chicago, IL.
