    Cool Colorado Avalanche IP autographs

    i went back to the arena today..Cody McLeod arrived at morning skate about 45 minutes to an hour before the rest of his teammates. i was able to get his autograph. really nice guy



    i then waited for a few more hours..unfortunately security wouldnt allow us near the bus so everyone waited on the curb or at the hotel. I didn't know where the hotel was, but I had a clue and I wanted to get autographs from Landeskog and Duchene !! so i was searching for the Pan Pacific hotel because that was where i thought they were staying, and I knew some other guys had had success earlier that day in getting autographs from duchene, at whatever hotel they were at. I knew it was either the Pan Pacific or 4 Seasons, but didn't know which one, but the majority of teams stay at Pan Pacific so I started heading towards that direction. Well, the Avs had actually been staying at the 4 seasons, and I had actually passed by the 4 Seasons on my search for the Pan Pacific Hotel.. ( that was so unlucky cuz I had walked right past the 4 seasons hotel around the same time The Avalanche bus had pulled up after their morning skate. I then look on twitter after I come back home, and sure enough, Landeskog and Duchene had been signing for fans and posing for pictures at nearly the exact same time I had walked right past it..Noo :(

    Sorry to hear that you weren't able to meet Landeskog and Duchene. However, nice to see that you snagged Cody McLeod and good luck next time, Andrew! I'm also really hoping you'll meet James Reimer and get that autograph.

    Thanks!! yeah it sucks that there are no eastern teams coming this year..hopefully next season or during stanley cup finals!! Leafs vs Vancouver )

    you can always call the hotels... say you're the cousin/nephew/whatever of an assistant coach, and ask if he's checked in yet. That's a good way to know for sure what hotel they're at... not that I've done that before or anything...
