Habs sweep the Super Bowl Weekend!
This is a much better team than the past year. Got lucky with the disallowed goal.

I agree that the goal should have counted, Imagine they even gave a penality. But sometime Habs are affected by a bad decision and end up loosing, so we will take the win. Many comentator tend to say the team is not that much different but I disagree in many ways, First close 100% of the management and instructor are new. That is a very big and important change even if they do not play on the ice. They still call the shot. Gionta and Markov where not playing most of the season last year since they were injured. Gallager and Galchenyuk also weight in a lot. In the end, last year we had one offensive trio and now we have three offensive trio. So to me these four players make a ton of difference in the team offense and markov also make the defense stronger. Add to this the new management and we have a very different team then we had last year. 4 key players can make a ton of difference.

As happy as I am about this, and the Habs in general right now, I am still crushed by the 49ers losing in the Super Bowl.
Habs fan and collector! Main PC's: Carey Price, Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, Juraj Slafkovsky, and of course...

I'm a Bruin's fan but the Habs do look different...what I see most is a team that is playing for the logo on the front of the jersey, and considering the prestige of that logo, that creates a lot of pride imho...plus Markov, when healthy is world class, and lethal on the power-play...Can't wait til Wednesday...THE rivalry continues!!

Bourque is also improving the team, his tenure is helping Plekanec a lot.
I'm surprise they are at 6-2 even with the changes they made in the offseason I didn't expect such a radical change, I thought they would end the year between the 8th and 10th spot, only time will tell if they can keep it up.

Biggest difference this year is the goal support that Price is receiving. He's been very good as always, but when is the last time you saw this team go four straight games with four goals or more scored? It's been just awesome having a full roster and everybody buying into Therrien's new system.
