The lawsuit is completely unrelated to this incident.

Exactly... And the owner's big-mouthed wife needs to ask pertinent questions at the dealership itself before she jumps the gun. If you could be sued for being a moron, perhaps they would have her.

Mistaken car identity and nothing more.

I love how people like to sue for every single thing. This is going nowhere as the cops acted the way they should.

Why is this even being discussed? Relevance to the P&R area?

    He's a pastor?
I dunno. I do know no one said anything about the jerk who questioned the automatic gratuity. That has about as much relevance as this, so why question this.

Also, despite the name, this forum is really not about politics or religion. It's about what those two things help make up, which is society.

I didn't see the gratuity thing, had I seen it I may have questioned it too. And while I agree that this forum is not strictly politics and religion, the general theme is and we try to keep it from becoming willy-nilly. The article provided provides no basis for discussion about laws, legal rights, religion or anything at all really. It doesn't even clarify who is being sued.

The article is crap, no argument there. The incident brings up the issue of racial profiling, which is relevant I guess.
The gratuity started as a conversation about the generosity of clergy and turned into a debate over the idea of automatic gratuity. Anything that gets people talking, I guess.

I re-read the article. I don't see where it says anything about race or racial profiling. Am I missing something??.... All I am seeing is the lady saw a car leaving the lot and thought it was stolen and called 9-1-1 and the police responded accordingly and did a felony stop.
