And it already begins
Sold a card to Canada for $20 with free shipping. I made the mistake of not mentioning PWE on lower deals. Buyer gets it very fast, no damaged, and complained it came in a PWE. I am not losing 50% on a sale on fees+shipping. And it begins

Regardless of shipping cost, you should have mentioned the PWE, especially on a $20 sale. Your fault, not the buyer's fault.

people freak because there have been numerous horror stories of mangled cards sent in PWE...lower end base cards i dont mind unless im charged $4 for a PWE but higher end cards would much rather pay a couple more dollars to ensure its safe travel in a small bubble mailer ( you can still ship a single card in a small bubble mailer and ship it to CANADA as large envelope for $3) it cant be larger than 3/4 of an inch thick or theyll make you ship it out parcel which is $6.50+Eric Staal PC= 1881 different and counting

I've done over 1,000 of them. 800 plus in 2000-2002, and another 300 since November. I have it stated in BOLD, - Free Shipping, and all cards are sent in a Re-inforced Top-Loader securely within an envelope and not one complaint. People in Canada are thrilled to get their cards on day 4 or 5.

It's easy to blame the system or the buyer, but this is all in your hands. 'Too much work' is never an excuse in busines... Man up, take some responsibility, and change your listings...
Sorry if that's a little rough.

I definitely agree that you should seek out a tool that will help you make mass modifications, because what you write in your auctions details is a binding agreement. If you say you ship in a bubble mailer for a price of $X, respect that even if you take a loss, otherwise you know it'll come back to bite you.
If you don't have a blurb explaining what shipping method you utilize and what material(s), set one up now, be explicit and stick to it. That way the buyer can't come back at you because he has agreed to your shipping method and paid for it. The point is, don't leave anything open because you know that at some point someone's going to take advantage of it and win. Cover your rear and be thorough, it's your duty to your business if you want to have success.

I get pwe from eBay all the time. Is it really this big an issue? I get so many it almost seems standard practice for eBay sellers."He's gone crazy," "You have to snap out of it," "Take your meds," or, "Don't be such a downer" serve only to mock, belittle, and make light of mental illness. Such phrases only continue the negative stigma and keep those who suffer from getting help. If these phrases, or phrases like them, are part of your at-hand vocabulary, you are part of the problem. #STOPtheStigma
