New Town, New LCS...
Stopped by one of the now many LCS's I have access to now that I've moved. Conversed with the owner for awhile, turns out he loves Allen and Ginter like I do.
Figured I'd rip some wax. Nothing great for me... but... I know there's a certain andrewhoya who will be thrilled...
Busted 12 packs, he gave me a $10 new customer discount. Nice of him!
Nothing worth writing home about
1 black bordered short print
1 ad back short print
A handful of other randoms.
And the hit...
Andrew Bailey GU
I went into it knowing it was not a brand new pure box, and was in fact the box-out-of-wedlock conglomoration of several other boxes.
I'm in the Des Moines area now, if anyone else is too. Hit me up!

Congrats on finding new soil, not bad to get a hit out of 10 packs of Ginter either.I've grown to like the mini's as much as you do.I now have 4 of the numbered to 25 versions.Darvish,Jeter,Berkman, and the Petty that I pulled first.Do something nice for someone everyday, it will pay off in the long run.

I've a ton of minis, I'll have to see what Giants I have dupes of and get back to you. In the middle of a move right now with a business trip schedule for 2 weeks starting on Sunday, so shoot me a PM around the 24th or so to remind me if you would!
Thanks! Love those previously-Bazooka back minis (now Baseball Ad Back)! Only have 1 from 2012, pulled it in my first blaster of the year. Been pretty dry otherwise!

Not a terrible break and sure andrewhoya will take that hit off your handsI am an avid Atlanta Braves Auto collector. I am in the process of updating all my autos to a spreadsheet and organizing them. I am always looking for Atlanta Braves RCs Autos and also nice veteran autos.

The Rookie in Des Moines?
02-07-2013, 08:41 PM #7
Ryan's Cardz. Though the Rookie is technically about a mile closer to my soon-to-be new place of residence. You prefer one over the other, or a third party perhaps?

I have never been to Ryan's Cardz. I live in Southwest Iowa and occasionally on business make my way up to Des Moines. I have been to The Rookie a few times. A bit overpriced in some areas, but that is only in relation to online sales. The guy that owns it is extremely nice, and if you go on the weekend there is usually a fair amount of people ripping some wax. HUGE selection of packs, boxes, and singles. Overall a pretty good environment. Might have to hit you up next time I am going to be up there.
