Almost over. Proves that any one can go off anytime. Does not have to be born with a mental illness. There is no way you can determine when someone is going to go crazy. Even police can go mad. To own a weapon, to protect oneself , should be acceptable. I wonder who disagrees??

I agree that it does show that anyone can go crazy and do this type of thing outside of being mentally ill. Doesn't mean that there can't be measures taken to help prevent them no matter what realm they are in.

Wanting to adjust or create laws doesn't mean people can't own weapons and protect themselves.

What the Police and Wildlife officials will learn from this, is never allow Park and Wildlife officials to accost armed suspects when they have not been specially trained to do so.

I realize that the Park Wardens were armed, but that does not allow enough leeway in trying to bring this man's actions to a peaceful ending. The Police should have had these Park officers accompanied by SWAT members together manning this particular roadblock, not on their own without adequate training in this type of situation.
